Will printed bolts fit a metal nut?
M6 and larger usually do with a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.1–0.15 mm layers. Small sizes like M3 print better with a 0.2 mm nozzle.
How should I print a bolt?
Stand it on its head with the thread pointing up. No supports are needed.
Can I make a non-standard thread?
Yes — after choosing a size you can edit the thread diameter and pitch freely.
