How much weight can a printed hook hold?
A 5 mm thick, 20 mm wide PLA or PETG hook holds a few kilograms; increase thickness and width for heavier items.
Why print the hook on its side?
Printing on its side keeps the layer lines along the curve, so the hook does not snap between layers.
